parts for sale

Hey front-engine fans. I had an 87 924, but unfortunately had an engine fire, though about rebuilding the engine bay, but thinking it will be a lot more than i think. Dont know what started it, but i am going to be parting out the car if anyone needs any parts. willing to sell whatever it is that you need, for cheap, let me know a price, and we will talk about it. i do not have pictures as of yet, but let me know what you are interested in and i wil get the pictures to you ASAP so if you need anything, please contact me through this forum or my email is [email protected]. i am located near Philly, PA and I am looking for another Porsche, so if you know anyone selling one please let me know. thanks.

Hey thekidd, sorry to hear about your loss, and it's good to see you want another porsche. I also have an '87 924S but I am not currently looking for parts. I live in Lancaster (about 1 1/2 hours away from Philly) and know a couple P-cars for sale around here so I could help with that. Just tell me what model and year preference (if any) and I'll be happy to look around for you. There are three 944's, one 928, one 924S, and tons of 911's that I have seen for sale.

yeeaahh lil jon, if you could do that for me that woul dbe excellent. I dont think i can afford a 911 right now at the age of 20, but id love to have any of the 944s, 924S, or a 928. If you can give me some info on them that would be great, or tell me where you saw them on the internet. Thanks for the good looking out. enjoy the 924S. steve

Sorry to hear about you 924S. However, I can use a rear side marker light, there are probably a few other things I can use. I'll e-mail you when I remember what they are.

hey everyone. Ronined, yes i can get you that rear side marker. its yours, and get back to me for the other parts cause im selling parts as first come first serve kind of thing. To all the other people that read this, i don not have a Power steering rack, Fuel pump, Front seats, and A Cylinder head if i can get them out and if they are good. have some questions. i had en engine fire and am not sure if theses things would have gotten damaged. i was just getting to start to know my cars so id rather not sell junk to fellow Porsche enthusiasts, thank you all.

Interested in the rear carpet if it's the light tan color and in real good shape. Also, looking for a perfect Porsche script driver's seat - Linen, I think they call it. Slightly tan/greyish color.

EMBpilot- i will have to check out the deck seal, but i didnt have any leaks with the car, but noticed that above the hatch lock, there was about a one inch gap in the seal.

Wi have already sold both of the front porsche script seats. sorry. my interior color of the car is red/maroon, what ever you want to call it, its in good condition, but not the light tan color, sorry.

I could really use the center guage console. I don't need the gauges just the plastic bezel that holds them. If you have it let me know a price.

Thanks:

Steve

holy mother of god... it's like a Picasso painting... you really have to study it to see the parts... glad you're ok!

this pic actually looks like Rocky in part 1 when he was fighting Apollo... one eye sagging, face all beat up.... "I cant see anything.... cut me, Mic.... cut me."

hahahaha im am nothing close to a mechanic, but this is what happened. i started her up, and hear a tiny "tick" and a fizzle, and then all of a sudden, BAM, theres a one foot flame coming out near the left headlight. i jumped out and just watched the sad show. took the fire comp about 10 minuest to get there, but they could even open up the hood at first, so they took a crow bar to it so they could get some water underneath. and plus, they chipped paint near te right head light, and dented the left fender near the headlight. im guesing it may be an ignition coil? when i started her up it it tried, it tried to start once, twice, and the third time the charm right? nope, no tthis third time. im only 20, but all ready decided that im only gonna be driving a Porsche for now on hopefully.
