cheaper alternative for sunroof seals

just as the title says..
are there any?

I dont wanna spend 100+ bucks US plus shipping on something that i may be able to fashion out of a length of rubber hose or something of the like...

I'll probably need inner and outer seals for an early car...

It's called silicone and never using your sunroof again.

I guess you could use silicone before the winter, then break the seal and use the sunroof in the summer, and just put new silicone every time. This borders on ghetto but hey I understand sometimes you just gotta cut some corners.

But clean unclogged sunroof drains will help the situation. You can have a bad seal and still keep the interior mostly dry if the drain tubes are unclogged.

drain tubes are clear...
still get drops on my head when i come to a hard-ish stop in the rain... but other than that, it drips onto the back seat.

Find a local classic car restorer. they have catalogs of door and trunk seal stock you can buy by the foot.
