PSM, is it worth it?
I have been looking at various 2002 911 C2's for several months. I have added to my list one of the tihings I want on it is PSM (along with heated seats for the wife!). As this car will be a daily driver, here in the Midwest, in all sorts of weather, I thought the PSM would help in bad weather besides help keeping one out of trouble otherwise. I don't expect to track or autocross the car, but you never know.
What are people's experiences with PSM? Is it really something of value? I have not driven a rear engine car very much, just a few 911's on test drives. Any thought would be appreciated. Thanks. |

You cannot predict when you will hit a patch of slippery road. I have found PSM to worth it. It is seamless and will save you from some unsavory moments. PSM is well worth the investment.

It's the Management System for steering just like ABS is for braking. . . I have it, don't turn it off unless I'm doing something crazy.
You make the call,
