Oil pressure 2002 996
Since I bought my 2002 Targa 1 month ago the oil pressure has always been at 5 while driving and 3 while idling. After reading a post regarding oil pressure I believe it should be closer to 3.5 @ 4000 rpm and 1.5 while idling. I checked the oil level using the onboard computer and it showed overfull. I had the oil level checked and it shows normal using the dipstick. Could this be the pressure sensor or has anyone had this problem before? What else could it be?

Will I think it’s normal at 5 while driving and 3 while idling, because my 2000 carrera reed the same and I all ready change the oil couple times and still the same!!!
