Airbag and Navigation System
I am new here, this site looks great ! I have 2 questions here for a 2004 996 Coupe,
1. Is there anyway I can deactivate the passenger airbags for a child to ride in front ? 2. I have the Becker CDR-23 navigation system installed. The CDs are a bit outdated, I admit I am clueless with these systems, what CDs work here, with what is it compatible, what would i need to look for if I purchase on the Internet? Yes, there is an update that allows you to deactivate the airbag for a child seat. The dealer sells and installs the necessary hardware. I think that this can also be used to deactivate the airbag for a larger child as well. To the best of my knowledge, the becker system only works with the becker disks. I know Porsche sells updated disks.
