Can anyone identify this interior wood trim color?
I need to replace the piece that runs between the knee pad and the airbag cover, but the local dealer only shows Maple Rootwood as being available. My options codes indicate XNP, XNZ, XPN Mahogany trim.
It's for my 99 boxster, but I believe the part is exactly the same. Thanks!

No, Burlwood is what the local dealership thought at first too. Just found out it's mahogany. In hopes of helping future people searching this, the part # is the same except the last 2 digits, which indicate colour. Mahogany is 02, so this part is 986.552.987.02 (whereas dark maple rootwood is 986.552.987.10). The guy in the parts dept. had to go to an older boxster catalogue (97 and 98) as the the 99 parts have all been superceded to 996 part #s, or something like that.
