Black exhaust tip
I'm a new (2nd owner) of a 99 C2 Cabriolet, 70,000 miles. Engine was replaced under warranty in 2001, (55,000 miles +/-). The right exhaust tip shows more carbon (blacker) than the other side. If you wipe your finger you get black soot while the other side is noticably less. I'm thinking of valve guides soon / rings? Or is this normal carbon build up? What do you think?
