SOLD!! BK R-2020 Fire Extinguisher Mount for 996/997/986 New never mounted
Left over from a closed shop, this mount was used as display only, never mounted in a car, fits all Boxsters, 996's and 997's.
From the BK website: Material: Tig welded, type 304, stainless steel. Finish: Powdercoated in durable black wrinkle-finish. Weight: 1 lb. 11 oz. Models: 996/997 & Boxster Installation: Attaches to factory seat track hardware. Miscellaneous: Holds one 2.5lb. Extinguisher. Picture shows actual mount. Some minor surface rust on the top post, probaly quick shot of oil would remove it. It really isn't much, but just wanted to disclose it first! Asking $125 shipped anywhere in the US. Thanks!

I wish I had a 996 to put it in! Or boxster or 997 for that matter! It doesn't fit my car for some reason....

In what area of the car does this mount? Under seat, center console...?

Basically you remove a pin and use the one supplied by BK, and attach two screws in factory holes, again supplied by BK. The do say to remove the seat, but I have done it without on a Boxster.

I mounted mine in the 996TT without taking out the seat...just have to do a little braile work getting it lined up under the seat. Great mount...sits far back so that it doesn't interfere with the passenger at all.
