996 Tiptronic Transmission Question!!
Hello all,
Any idea if a 1999-2000 996 tiptronic transmission is the same as a 2001? Will it be a direct fit? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance, Alex. |

I would say yes, that they are the same.

The part number of the trans and control unit for a 01 are different to a 99-00.

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate the info! I was real close to buying a trans. I'd sure hate to find out that it wouldn't work the hard way!
