Air Pressure Monitors

I have a 2007 GT3 that comes with an air pressure monitoring feature. Problem it that with the tire pressures set exactly where the manufaturer suggests, the monitors read 5-6 lbs low. Now I use a Longacre gauge that I have checked againt other well calibrated units so I know that I am where I am supposed to be. I have tried to use the TPC settup but that doesn;t help. So the problem is that the monitor "tinks" that the pressure is low and the flat tire warning lights come on. I have taken iot to all the Porsche dealerships in thr Boulder/Denver Colorado area and none of them has a cure for this. Speaking to other newer Porsche owners, it seems that I am not alone in theis. So does anyone have a suggestion for a solution to this problem?
