996 turbos
hey folks, the 996 turbos are approaching some pretty good prices. you can pick up one for 40k with <50,000 miles.
are there any known problems with these cars? they are just as cheap as a C4S of the same year. why the cheap price? david |

I have my eye on some in So Cal, private sellers are as low as 34K, but are they worth it. Many of these cars are in bad condition, repairs could start as low as 3K. Good luck in your search.

They are very nice cars. The economy has decimated the used car prices for most cars.
IMO the turbo is a much better car than the C4S. The car weighs allot and need the power of the turbo motor to make it fun to drive. Turbo's have are generally more expensive to fix and maintain. Keep this in mind.
