997 seat removal
I need advice on removing power driver's seat on 997 to install fire extinguisher bracket. It looks to be held on by star headed torque bolts (?) front and rear. I live 500 miles from the nearest Porsche dealer so would like to do the work locally. What special tools, sockets, etc.
Thank you for any advice you can provide. |

Have you been to Sears looking for the tool? Are you going for a test fit see if you like it?
Regards,

You will need "e-torx" sockets.

IIRC......It's the #13 star socket.

Got busted again...
Don't you just hate it when someone calls you out on an issue and they're right? You forced me to get off my dead butt and go pull the Star socket set....and you are quite correct....there is no #13.....it's the #12 star socket that fits that bolt head. Good catch!! Now I can slink away and pout.
