I replaced the brake light switch and still nothing. Maybe it's a faulty switch? I'm not entirely convinced the one I bought is even OEM. Hmmmmm..... before I go and buy another switch, is there anything else I should look at? Any other ideas? I've read that there's a brake pressure sensor on the Master Cylinder on other threads for older models but is there any for this model? Maybe that's the problem?
Not sure if this is related, but the left side driving lights would always blow the fuse every other day. Since the brake lights stopped working, I no longer have that issue. I'm completely lost on this one. I even tried jumping the connector and still nothing. |

This post shows how to swap the brake light switch out and will show you what the OEM one looks like...
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=366950&highlight=abs+psm I find it odd that the brake lights don't work and the cruise control doesn't work. Those are both things that would be affected by the switch. It may be worth checking that you're getting voltage to the switch with a volt meter, or checking your fuses if you haven't already.

Thank you for the info Aerkuld. I ordered a new OEM switch from Pelican so hopefully it's not a short somewhere and that will fix the problem. Thanks again.
