996 C2 Wheel Options

Any wheel fitment experts out there? I have a 1999 996 C2 with the stock 17 inch rims with 255/45's on it in back & 205/50's in the front. Looking at newer model 997 rims, when am I going to run into rubbing problems? I could crawl under there and start measuring and calculating, but I'd rather use someone elses info if they have it. So in short, is something like this: 997 Carrera S II
out of the question?
THANKS

Thumbs up

I got a response from them today (which I wasn't expecting) and this is what they said...editing out the prices and unnecessary info...
.......A pair of 7mm H&R spacers and ten extended length H&R lug bolts, needed to fit the front wheels on your 1999 996 Carrera.....A set of 235/35ZR19 and 315/25ZR19 for tires.....

So apparently it is possible....

Garage
So, I have a 2000 996 C2 with the 18" wheel option. I have the opportunity to go with 19" rims from a 2008 C2. Will there be a clearance issue with these, or a wheel stud length issue?

Please reply to [email protected] since I don't check this link that often.

Thank you for any help/input.
