Engine wear limit specs
I'm working on rebuilding a 996 motor and I have the factory manuals (Thanks to Wayne at Pelican), but for the life of me I can't find any wear limit specifications for the crank/rod bearings and journals. Does anybody have these specs or know where I can find them? Also: are first under bearings available?

Unfortunately, Porsche has never let any of this info out about the M96/97 engines. The best info has been gathered first hand with new parts.
Also, there are no oversized bearings available. Basically, Porsche viewed these engines as marginally repairable.
