$5500 each. These are NOT street cases that are available through the dealer system.

They are a little different and are not made in Spain. I believe these are made in either Germany or Austria. Porsche keeps the best of the best for the race program.

Air to Water

Hello to all:

Can anyone confirm if there is a significant difference in engine length (flywheel to crank pulley) between a 1978, 3.3 turbo and a newer water cooled M96/76 3.6 liter.

Please I do not intend to discuss the matter of Air to Water; only interested in will it fit.
I do not wish to cut the torsion bar tube out which probably limits me to a shortened and highly engineered G50.
Experienced advice is sincerely appreciated.

Don G.

Nearly identical in overall length. You can actually drop a 3.0 crank in a GT3 case and it fits perfectly.

I have a 996 turbo short block with a bad case if someone wants to buy it for parts to use on one of Don's cases.
