Anyone have any experience with rebuilding their Porsche engines or transmissions at Vertex Auto in Miami. This is the same company as Vertex Auto Parts. |

I just bought a rebuilt Tiptronic (772.6) from them. Only 1,000 miles so far, but it shifts like new and feels strong. Haven't beat on it yet.

I would stay away!!! We had a customer buy a "rebuilt" G50 transmission from them. The transmission showed up with the wrong axle flange seals installed, the seals didn't even touch the axle flanges and obviously leaked. The transmission failed shortly after and Vertex made him buy another one, they would not warranty it.
