Magnetic Stone Guards: Feedback

Hello Pelicanites,

We patterned these magnetic stone guards after the latest "Speedster" shark fins. These are made from high energy magnetic material and mount over the clear factory SG's. They do not yellow over time can be removed and re-mounted in seconds. These offer extra protection from road debris and are excellent for track applications and long road trips. We offer these in Matte Black, Gloss Black and Carbon Fiber. Prices start at $64.95 a set.

I am really digging these. Is there any danger leaving them on all the time?? I am concerned dirt might get behind them and damage the paint.

Mystro,

You can leave them on all the time if you like. You will need to periodically remove and wipe around the edges (especially if you get caught in a rainstorm). You don't want to allow moisture to get trapped underneath. I have used them for years on my turbo without any issues.

Thanks,
Dan

hmmm...your car looks really nice. The matte is more factory in appearance. The gloss looks more custom. Either would look nice on that car. If you went with the gloss we could print a small tasteful "porsche" at the bottom of the SG in grey. Similar to the photo below.

I like these too. What color for a black exterior?

Hands down...carbon fiber. Here is a photo of the CF on a black 993. It really looks cool in real life. These guards were intended to fit a 997 not a 993 as you can see in the photo.

I like this! I read quickly and could not see anything for a narrow body? What they are offering for a 84-89 non-turbo is for a flared one? I am right?

bump.

I think the black ties in with the black intake and mirror trim.
