Hola!
just went from a 986s (wrecked by nature), the short version is that the replacement turned out to be an '04 C4S cab; with a new engine (warranty, god bless 'em), w/ 7k mi on it. I'm looking forward to getting to know this forum, as the last 8 yrs on the 986 forum have been so helpful and supportive.
I am a reasonably competent wrench; w/ about 50yrs of automotive theory begining in high school, when they still taught those skills. Tank crewman and platoon mechanic in the Marines, '67-70. Can't spell worth a *****, so don't pick on me... But I'm looking forward to getting to know this car; as I did on the 986 forum, and all the great and varied advice. Andy (superglide)

Welcome to the 996 community, although there are not many on this forum there are enough to help if you need.
