997 rough idle

i have a 997 here with the typical p2187 and p2189. i have replaced all o2 sensors all coils and the maf sensor. could the rough idle be caused by the throttle body and set these codes?

Have the codes been cleared?

I looked up in the manual and 2187 and 2189 are sort of companion codes. They mean that the fuel trims are so far out that they are uncorrectable to bring lambda to a 1 value. They are written to indicate a bad condition (either rich or lean) at an off idle under load (RKAT) or the lower range of the freeway driving speeds (FRAU). You must use the scanner to see what the fuel trims are at the RKAT and the FRAU load values. This will tell you whether you have a rich or lean condition.
Some of the items mentioned are (too rich) fuel pressure too high, leaking injector, maf sensor inaccurate; or (too lean) tank vent valve stuck open, sai valve leaking, fuel pressure too low, maf inaccurate.

Using PIWIS I would look up the codes as they will have expanded data and will tell you rich or lean and at what range. Maybe autologic has same capability. If not try durametric on front pass seat and read fuel trims while driving in failure mode.
