Issue with convertible top, Porsche 996
Hi,
I have fixed almost every typical problem with my convertible top, so now it is working great mechanically! But, there is one cosmetical issue left. The fabric on the top ends up outside the convertible top frame, not all the way, but maybe 5-6" just above where the front and rear side windows meet. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this? Thanks, Johan

Johan,
There is a cable on each side of the top that pulls it into the channel. If the cable is slack it may have pulled out of the eye at the front or off of the ball at the rear. There are also elastic straps that pull the cable in toward the center of the top to help guide the cable/top into place. Check both ends of the cable first. The rivet at the front is prone to pulling out.
