right front fender fan noise 2004 911

Under the right front fender (passenger side) there is a noise like a fan bearing gone bad. Can be heard right under the gas cap filler. Assuming is a bad fan, how do I get to it to remove it? Any photos would be helpful

It may also be the gas tank vent system. If you open the filler flap is the noise coming from the grommet?

If it is a fan it is one of your cooling fans. Do a google search on 996 cooling fans, or cleaning the radiators.
