Taller tires for 996 C4S
Can you help me to find out wich are the taller tires that can fit my 2002 996 C4S?
actually it has 225-40-18 Front and 295-30-18 Rears. jCons |

Get the "original equipment" 17s then you can get taller sidewalls with the same dia as the 18s so you don't change the speedometer/odometer accuracy.

Do you know if these wheels will fit over the C4S larger discs?

Looks like it.
Look at the tire inflation guide on your car. See if it gives both 17" and 18" pressures. Most folks give up the extra comfort and rim protection of the taller sidewall of the 17" for sharper turn in, harsher ride and greater possibility of pinched sidewalls/bent rims of the 18". (actually sharper handling, the rest is just a bonus)
