Sun visor bolt stripped

I have a 1999 996. The screws that hold the visor,to the window frame are stripped in my car. Does anyone know how to repair? Just for clarity, I am talking about screws that hold the visor arm to the car, and not the clip on the other side with the electrical connections. The nut inside the window seems to have stripped and can't figure out how to get inside the metal window frame. Thanks

I had the same problem with my 1998 996 and used the nutsert method of repair. The biggest problem was trying to fish out the broken nuts. Here is link to the repair. Good Luck!

Quick easy way is to insert a piece of paperclip wire into the threads & then attach as normal.
