Tire sizes

I have got a tire size question for you guys. I live in Central America and road conditions are pretty rough, si I find 235/35 front tires on my 2008 Turbo rather unforgiving of potholes.
Question is, how feasible is it to upgrade to 245/35 tire size?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
Saludos

I don't think going wider will help. You need more sidewall. To get a little more cushion / protection, you might want to consider moving to 18" rims with corresponding sized tires. The fronts, for example, would be 225/40x18.

Drop to 215 45 17" for more side wall with the same overall Dia. Go to tire rack and look at +1 and minus 1 sizing.

I apologize I didn't answer before! Bad behavior on my part.
Actually, most tire sellers and the dealer told me no to change the size as it would screw up the awd system.
So it seems like I will be simply more careful when driving.
