Upgrading 2009 997 C2 to Brembo Big Red
I have a 2009 997 Gen 2 C2 cabriolet and need to replace all of the pads and rotors. I was offered some very low mileage calipers, rotors, wear sensors and pads (4,000 miles only) for less than the price of a set of new rotors. These came from a 2009 Carrera C4S cabriolet.
Part numbers of the calipers are 996.352.426 and 996.352.425. I have bought these, but when I looked at the Pelican tutorial, it mentions you may need some Brembo adapters and new brake hoses. Can anyone confirm which parts would be required, if any, and who can supply them? Finally, where would be the best place to sell the old standard calipers and what kind of value would they attract? Thanks

Well, I answered my own question and thought I'd share the information - these brake calipers bolt straight onto the standard 997 hubs with no modification or adapter plates required. They also use the same brake hoses, brake rotors / disks. Then I noticed the standard calipers are actually Brembos also, so my next question, is there any performance advantage at all, or just a change in colour?
