Anybody got pics of painted 996 turbo twists?

I am looking to see what powder coated OE turbo twist wheels would look like. Any pictures would be very helpful.

Nice. My car is white as well. I'm thinking To go white or black... Black might be more edgie. Hope to see more examples. Thanks

I like those. "Plasti-dipped"? Is that the same as powder coated?

My car is a 996tt. The wheels seem to get dirty really fast. How do the whites work for you inaminit? or is there a cure I can learn about?

I have a complete set for sale. My 74 911 I just bought came with them and they just don't look right on that car.

Choice has been made!

Here's what I decided to do with my wheels. I used the recommended plastiic type paint, First I washed and cleaned each wheel inside and out. Then masked the scoops between the spokes (just out to the outer rim edge), wiped it down with lacquer thinner to rid it of all other foreign materials and sprayed them. I then removed the tape while the paint was fresh and used a paper towel, dipped in Lacquer thinner, to "rim" the edge. Once the paint was dry to touch (15 min in Arizona) I moved on to the next section. Took me about an hour a wheel once I got going and overcame my fear of painting this beautiful car's wheels. See what you think... Makes the spokes look longer, the wheels look taller, deeper and really pops out the yellow brake calipers. I love the added black to set off the Carrera White paint! I'm happy.

With plastidip so easy and cheap, just buy a few cans and experiment to see what you like or don't like on your own car.
