GT3 deck lid swap?

Anyone know if there are any issues with replacing the stock rear deck lid of a GT3 with a stock 996 (C2) deck lid. I recognize that the 996 lid has the speed sensitive wing which will need to plugged in to the GT3.
I'm thinking of using my GT3 as my daily driver, and prefer not to have the "boy racer" look (just my preference).
Please let me know if I need to be aware of anything in particular.

I've got a deck lid from a prior 996, and was just wondering what I might be in for before I tried to swap.

Anyone know if the wire harness chassis plug from the 996 gt3 (for the deck lid fan) is the same as the chassis plug of a 996 c2?
