There is an oil leak just ahead of the rear passenger side wheel on my 996.
And of course, the soft top stopped working. Can you tell by my quick description what seems to be the problem? Do I have to replace any part?
Should I be able to fix it my self?
Tks for your help.

Without knowing where the leak is coming form, I cannot tell you what to fix. If you pinpoit the leak and describe the area I could be more help. Try jcking the vehicle and looking for the source of the leak. Look for dripping or a clean oil soaked area.
