Cool 2000 996 Engine warning light & AC

Porsche 2000 – 996 Have two problems; first is that the engine warning light remains on diagnosed as the O2 sensors they were changed and within 50 miles back on again same diagnoses, light was turned off then back on again now been told that I need replacement catalytic converters. Anyone else experienced this problem.
Second is that I have small pieces of 1/32” thick foam coming out of the AC vents, all of them, any ideas what this is and the remedy.
