Fastener ID help
I'm putting my '87 Carrera back together after removing the driver fender for a respray. I carefully bagged everything, however the fasteners below missed the organizational process. The bolts are 8X35 I believe. Are they from the fuel filler area? The bots seem might long for that. And what are the two L-shaped washer/clamps?
![]() The fender was a replacement by the PO, so it might be from an earlier year. Any help from the forum would be appreciated! |

If you go to this link and select your year car you can open up the PDF reader for all the parts in your car. There are pretty decent diagrams.
These fasteners would be in the body section, which is kind of a pain because of all the interior detail parts listed, but I bet you can find them once zeroed into the front fender assy. Genuine Parts Catalogue - Classic Genuine Parts & Literature - Porsche Classic - Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG

Those look to be lo profile heads. Are you sure all the bolts in your seat rails are there?

That's it! I had the shop mount a rollbar for me as well ...
time to double check my seats! Incidently, thanks Bob for the link. I've used these charts before for reference on other vendor's sites, but didn't know where to find them. |

The L bracket bolted in the seat channel to the front of the seat.

You might have to remove your seats to get to where those go, they are low profile so your seat will slide
