Throw Out Levers
I am trying to eliminate the Omega Spring on a couple of 915 Transmissions being used on a 911SC and it seem to be an idea to use the earlier throw out arms but I am unsure which one to use.
![]() Item 5 in the above drawing is 915.116.713.01 Item 7 in the above drawing is 915.116.713.05 Both look as if they may work. Has anyone tried either of these or had any other experience. Thanks in advance for any advice |

I think they all will work, but somewhat depends on your exhaust system. The straight pull system ( catches the trunion at the end of the arm) will fit with old style heat exchangers or headers. The angled arm will fit with the later styled heat exchangers ( I think they started with the 1975 911s), and uses a different clutch cable that bends around the end of the arm and attaches/adjusts at the middle stub along the arm.

clutch arms
#7 drops enough to run with the cross over piping.
In the picture its the one in the middle. The one on the top is a 930 part number where #7 is a 915 part # Bruce
