'87 Carrera Rear Reflector Mounting Question
Since I bought my car a year ago, I've noticed that the left side of the rear reflector sticks out from the car more proud than any of the other parts. I can push on it to suck it back in to the car, and when I let go, if goes back out.
Last night I took the reflector off and found out why. The left mounting "tab" is not secure at the top, and I can't figure out why. I'm assuming this is broken? Looking for advice on how to repair this tab so it stays stuck onto the back of the reflector. I'm not sure JB Weld would hold. Any ideas? In its "free" position: ![]() Where it should be:

Maybe JB Weld will have to be the way to go. Anyone ever have this happen to them?

I just fixed the same problem last week, I used Wurth Klebfix (like superglue) to glue the mount back to the lens.
There were a couple of loose tabs so I glued the edges of all the mounts. |

Thanks for the info, jr. I googled for the product you used, and it appears I can't get it in the U.S.
Wonder if actual super glue would work. On the back of the package it says it's not recommended for polyethylene or polypropylene plastics. I don't think the plastic on these parts is either of those types.
