Any better DD replacement for my AMG S65 than a 996TT Tiptronic?
I realize I'm asking a biased group, but ...
I bought the 06 S65 to fit two car seats in the back. Now have three kids so that won't work, and the wife has a three row SUV and a Minivan. So, I'm free to downsize. I'm looking at a 996 TT Tiptronic as a replacement, but figured 'd ping you all to see what you suggest. Seems like a very low mileage 996 TT goes for about 50k. I'd be looking in this range. I drive 15k miles per year, a lot of stop and go, and my 930 will fill the bill if I feel the need to "stir the pot", so an auto trans is a requirement. I'd like little back seats, but would consider two seaters. I've thought of Aston Vanquish, but dismissed for reliability and maintenance cost reasons. V12 Vantage is out of the price range. Don't really want to do the newish Vette thing. Suggestion anyone?

996 TT is a very comfortable DD & sports car. Probably 1000 lbs lighter than the S65 which is very noticable although straight line performance is simular. I am a lifelong manual shifter but would love to own a 996TT tip here in the big city due to traffic & jerks always trying to pass you stoplight to stoplight.
