Porsche Crest 02 boxster shuts off after running for 15mins

I have a 2002 Boxster that will shut off after about 15mins. of run time. I will try to restart but it will not restart till it cools or an hour or so. Will turn over but not start for an hour or so. Any ideas?

Hows your oil and coolant level?

I had similar symptoms with another vehicle when I was younger, oil starvation, engine was seizing up when its hot

Hows your plug and ignition coil?

Check your crank position sensor, your symptoms are classic failing crank sensor.

Engine coolant level is good. I replaced the ignition coils and plugs about 3-4 weeks ago. The engine temp stays level after the initial warm-up.

One thing that I forgot and it may help someone with more knowledge than me. The other day the car ran fine then would not start in the parking garage after work. The starter would turn-over strong but the car would not start. Interesting, the car started fine when I popped the clutch rolling out of the garage to the tow-truck. I found it strange that "popping the clutch" would work but it would not start with the starter. It ran well the rest of the way home. That was when I replace the MAF sensor. It has now returned to the old symptoms of initial low rpm idle followed by engine shut-off after 10-15 minutes but restarts fine. Does this fit with a malfunctioning crank sensor? or?
