Bead Breaking to Replace Tire Pressure Senders

Has anyone used the $39 Harbor Freight tire changer to break the tire bead off the rim in order to replace the pressure senders??

I ordered the set for the wife’s ’08 from OEWHEELS for $150. Is it as simple as breaking the tire bead in the area of the valve stem/pressure sender, swapping in a new one and re-inflating the tire?

I must be missing something…. Never changed anything except a bike tire.
