Question tiptronic transmission oil application

Hello Friends,

I am looking to change the tranny oil on my 996 porsche year 1998 .
can I use the Pentosin ATF 1 on it ?
the porsche part number on parts catalogue is the 000-43-207-00
and he ATF 1 has porsche ref part number 999.917.547.00.

will cause any damage on transmission mix this oil with the remaining oil on the system?

Thanks and Regads,

Alfredo

It's been awhile since I had my 996 tip, but there was an equivalent fluid made by Castrol which had the same spec. I believe it's called their European spec oil or something like that. IIRC, the fluid spec number also was the same recommendation for BMW.

In order to change your fluid, I assume you already know the procedure? You need a car lift, or put it up on 4 jack stands, a pump with a "U" shaped nozzle to get it into the fill hole, a temperature gauge or electronic thermometer.
