2006 gen 1 997 coolant sys pressure

can someone help me with what the expansion tank cap is rated for pressure wise...and also, what pressure does the coolant system normally run at...?
I need to check system pressure after replacing a water pump, thermostat & several hoses and before i add coolant...I dont want to over pressurize the system to check for leaks...
thx, bob

thx jfp...so i guess to test the system I should pump up the system to no more than 20 psi and watch for the needle to drop = losing pressure = have a leak...
how long should i wait to see if their is a leak...? 10-20 min's enough...?
thx again... :-)
