996 track car feeler
I'm beginning to look for a 996 track car for next season. It would need to be streetable, but prepped for the track. not a gutted and caged full race car, in other words. Ideally, it would be a 1999 model with the IMS done, deep sump, suspension, wheels, etc. Bonus point$ for cars that are not silver or black, and double bonu$ points for non-sunroof cars.
I'm not quite ready to go, but am interested in knowing if someone out there has such a beast and what you might want for it. Terry |

Another must have on your list should be a center rad. Additional cooling is necessary to keep the heads from cracking. If you run R compound tires you may want to consider an Accusump as well.

Center rad--was that what they had on Tiptronic cars, or do you mean an aftermarket one?
Accusump is a good idea--has one on my 944 track car. Thanks Terry |

Not sure. GT3, Boxster S and later 996's had them. The 99 996 has the mounting brackets already in place. Splitter hoses are available right here on Pelican.
