I have a 2001 996 Cab with a broken inside door release cable.
I have a 2001 996 Cab with a broken inside door release cable. This is a different cable than mostelectric remote. How do I disconnect the cable from the wrap around connector on the door lock?

The bowden cable pulls out then unhooks from the latch.
