Misfire

I have an 04 996 cab, sometimes after sitting in the rain the car will rough idle and throw misfire codes for various cylinders. Has anyone else experienced this, if so what is the remedy?
Thanks

I would read the codes to see with cylinders are acting up, then pull the coil pack(s) for the indicated cylinder(s) and examine them for cracks or other physical signs of problems.

Update: I pulled the coil pack on the #1 cylinder, sure enough it was cracked in several places. Replaced the coil pack and changed the plug and no problems.

I just read this and that would have been my first guess also. Just out of curiosity, how difficult was it to access, and did you change out the plugs at the same time?

Removing the mufflers made it easier to access cylinders 1, 2 and 4. To me they were virtually impossible to access without taking the mufflers off. I did change the plugs while I was in there.

Was having similar issues. Did all coil packs and plugs. Just got the car back today, it was raining and no check engine light.
