Crutchfield challenge

[Ruadhd2]

Hey folks. I have generally been impressed with the service I have received from Crutchfield. However, they haven't researched the 03 911 996 stereo options to replace the CDR-23. This was the first year for the fiber optic setup. They do have options for the 03 Boxster which also came with the CDR-23. Can I plug into those options even though the Boxster didn't have a rear area subwoofer. The configuration might be a little different, but the two cars had the same stereo. Thoughts?

I am hard of hearing and need a stereo with an external mike to avoid echo during bluetooth use.

Thanks, Steve
