Need help with 996tt clutch

Hi, newbie here, but tackling the clutch in my 2001 turbo. Everything I've read says I should have a solid disc clutch with the dual mass flywheel. Just recieved my jit in the mail, (upgrading to a GT2 disc) but when I pulled the pressure plate, I came up with a spring hub disc. Porsche p/n is correct. Can I install the solid hub disc? Or go back to start? Thanks!
