I also have a problem with my air bag on the passenger side on my 2006 997 Cab. No one sat in the seat for a long time then I put something heavy in the seat and the light came on. I spoke to a mechanic and he told me it could be just reprogram but I have found a mechanic that can do it. Any help or do I need to replace something?

Which light came on? The passenger airbag off light? The airbag light? If it is the airbag light then the vehicle will need to be scanned for faults so that a course of action can be planned.
