We would like to present this clean White Porsche 997.1 GT3 that we recently built. Our client wanted to take it to the track and brought the car to us upon immediately after taking delivery. To ensure safe and reliable operation, we welded the coolant pipes to prevent it from catastrophically failing despite the vehicle's low mileage. Subsequently, we installed our BBi StreetCup Roll Bar, Suspension Components, and many other goodies.

To improve handling and make this GT3 track-worthy, we installed our complete BBi Street Cup Suspension Package for the rear end. Inspired by Porsche’s motorsport program, he Street Cup name represents the culmination of our winning experience in professional motorsports and the extensive R&D efforts with our in-house fabrication, suspension engineering, and engine development programs. All of the experience gained with our successful racing background combined with state-of-the-art materials and the highest quality manufacturing have yielded an upgrade package worthy of the Porsche 911 name.

Removing OEM Fittings

Coolant pipe failure is an inevitable problem with the Porsche GT1-block equipped models (GT3, GT2, Turbo). Bonded together by adhesives, the factory pipes will eventually fail and be catastrophic. As the best preventative fix/solution for this problem, BBi Autosport offers replacement billet aluminum coolant pipes to be permanently welded that are available through Pelican Parts. Compared to the factory fittings, the replacement BBi billet fittings offers superior metallurgy to allow stronger, higher quality welds.

BBi 997 StreetCup Roll Bar

The BBi Street Cup roll bar features a 2 piece design and 4130 chrome moly steel tubing (1.5" x .120" main hoop & 1.5" x 0.95" rear hoops) for excellent strength to weight ratio. With our sensible approach, the 2 piece design allows the bar to be mounted to the front seat belt mounts and to the rear strut towers (stronger mounting points), and still be compatible with the factory Bose subwoofers. Other similar roll bars on the market are not compatible with the subwoofer. For superior strength and rigidity, the bar utilizes "X" braces on both front and rear sections and each joint has been meticulously TIG welded by hand. Bolt-in installation is accomplished by using Inner Diameter Tube Clamps that are CNC turned and milled for a precise fit. These unique joints allow us to eliminate the more traditional slip fit tubes with an unsightly through-bolt and nut.

• Designed to work with wrap-around style harnesses while optional eyelet bolt provisions are available for clip-in harnesses
• OEM fit & finish. The main hoop contours entire arch of the roof with an even 3/16 inch gap
• Finished in satin black powder coat. Other colors available
• Bolt-in installation requires no drilling and minimal carpet trimming

To protect the most vulnerable areas of your vehicle from damage caused by rocks and other debris on the street and track, we use XPEL's Ultimate Paint Protection Film as it combines best-in-class durability and clarity not previously available in the market.

Our technicians and clear bra installers work together take to extreme care of the vehicle during the installation process. All of the painted surfaces are thoroughly cleaned each before the installation and parts are carefully removed when necessary to help conceal the edges of the film.
