key remote, central locking button and dome light not working, aftermarket stereo

Hey guys

trying to figure out what I have done...

I have a 1999 C2 and it came with an aftermarket stereo. The alarm always had 1 beep when locking with the remote. The PO said it was something with the ground. OK.

I removed the Aftermarket radio to try and fit a CDR-220 but I couldn't as I didnt have the correct 1 din brackets anymore. They had been shaved off to install the 2 din aftermarket.

I put the aftermarket back in but now the key remote doesn't lock the car. I get two beeps. The interior dome light doesn't work. The central locking switch doesn't work on the center console. The radio works though.

I connected the ground wire. Still nothing.

Are there any fuses that might have blown when the ground was disconnected? Did installing the Porsche CDR-220 reset something in the alarm system that is now fouling it up when it's not there anymore?

I don't understand I put everything back together as it was.
