996 3.4 Carrera 2 tiptronic transmission swap to other engine

Hi,
I would like to put tiptronic transmission from PORSCHE 996 3.4 to my VW T3 (T25) MULTIVAN.
I'm not worried about the engine or transmission bolts connection but I'm afraid about Porsche electronic etc.
Is it possible to connect this transmission with other engine than original 996 3.4?
If yes which parts I need from 996 to do this?
Do you know what problems might arise?

I thought about few engine options:
VW R32 or R36
986 BOXSTER S 3.2
AUDI V6 or V8

IMHO a lot of hassle to install a trip unit...
You can instead put a Getrag 996 six speeder and almost all these are goes straight on...
