02 996 IMS questions

I'm about to replace the IMS with an LN unit in my 02 C4S. Bought LN tools. Read lots of literature from different sources but I am confused, Do I really need to pull all 4 cam plugs if I am using the LN tool? Which chain tensioners do I need to loosen. Seems to me I need to only remove the plugs from the driver side rear end (closest to rear bumper) of cyls 1-3 and install the tool designed for 3 chain engines while locked in at TDC and loosen the one tensioner, Is this correct?

Which tool is considered the LN easy out? Nothing looks like any easyout I have ever use.

What is the little threaded nut like thing with the wire attached to used for?

Did they come with instructions? If so, follow them to the letter.

I have not ordered the bearing yet as I want to be positive it is a single vs dual race prior to purchasing a new one. Was told by the supplier instructions are not provided but I have gone on LN's site and was able to download them. Its not clearly indicated which cams to lock nor which chain tensioners need to be loosened.

If your engine is the original, it is a three chain single row. LN's IMS instructions clear state what needs to be done:
