996 HP updates

I just got my first 911. It's a 1999 with 45k miles and is all stock at 296hp.
I am looking for updates that will increase HP a little.. Is there computer changes that will help with this?? I'm not looking for internal updates at this time.
I am hoping to get some ideas on this..

If you start searching the internet, you will find all kinds of wild claims for increased HP and/or torque from various and often quite expensive DME reflashes, intake parts, etc. A word of caution: Nearly all of them are either bogus or vastly overstated. On normally aspirated water cooled Porsches, you can spend literally thousand's of dollars for little if any real meaningful gains. If you want to make real power, you need to pull the engine and send it to someone like Jake Raby, but be prepared to pay more than the car is worth to get that performance.
