Low Oil pressure and cylinder 5 filling with oil

Following track day session, on slowing coming off track got low oil pressure light. Gauge showed always had oil pressure but seemed lower than normal for same revs. Once oil cooled had full pressure again. However once oil warned and thinned pressure dropped and again light on at idle. After car sat for day, MAJOR smoke on startup (well byd the small startup puffs you occasionally get). At indy shop that does Porsches in area, pulled sump and found no shrapel, oil pressure relieve valve good, screen clean. Scoped all cylinders and found no noticible grooves or marks or anything out of ordinary? Car made no odd noises, has no leaks but cylinder 5 filling with oil? What should we be looking for next?? Any help of suggestions appreciated

That is not caused by the AOS, your problems go deeper.

My fear as well......odd that its all cylinders on one bank though? Head gasket? But that doesn't explain high crankcase pressure.....and cylinder that was filling with oil had decent leakdown????

If your engine blew a head gasket, it would be the first one to ever do so. These engines use multilayer steel head gaskets that are actually stronger than either the cylinder heads or engine cases.

Yea thanks, I read that researching further last night, realized it wasn't likely. Any ideas as to what would take our an entire bank like that without causing any scoring in cylinders, shrapnel in sump or coolant in oil?? By the way, thanks for feedback so far, much appreciated

Guessing you have a 3.4 engine & your cam timing is way off on one bank because the Vario-cam chain wear pads have worn excessively. Have the camshaft timing variation checked.

Without seeing the car, I would be guessing. You need to dig in further.
